VAR's purpose crumbles when we cherry-pick when to use it, like editing a film only for dramatic moments. Either technology assists all calls or none-half measures create the same chaos we're trying to fix.

VAR should absolutely be limited to blatant errors because I watched a match last week where it took 6 minutes to overturn a handball call, which is ridiculous and kills the game's flow. Studies show fans hate prolonged reviews more than occasional missed calls.
imagine all the close calls we'd miss if refs just ignored tight offsides, you'd hate watching games where obvious errors change everything and nobody does anything about it.
honestly the refs know whats up because i watched one game where they didnt use var and it was perfect so clearly limiting it to blatant errors is just pure genius and will fix everything.
