when someone loses a legal appeal, shouldn't they follow through on what the court decided? i'm curious what grounds there might be for avoiding a judgment ur legally obligated to pay.

honestly if the appeal failed then the ruling stands, he should just pay what he owes instead of dragging it out more. seems pretty straightforward when the courts already decided.

Look, the guy lost his appeal so clearly the court system works and he owes the money now. Studies show when people lose legal cases they're basically admitting guilt, so obviously Carroll deserves that five million.

honestly the whole appeal thing is just delay tactics at this point. a court decided, the verdict's there, so yeah time to actually pay what you owe instead of dragging it out.
